I’m a Ph.D Candidate @ Music and Audio Computing Lab, KAIST. I’m a music information retrieval researcher, a dilettante musician, and a game developer.
I was used to be a heavy gamer of 2D dot pixel graphic game. I started coding as a hobby because I wanted to make a game like Maplestory. Since it was more fun than I expected, I decided to do something with coding, and changed my major during my undergraduate. Meanwhile, I like musiciking. I play violin, piano, guitar and sometimes I compose music.
In general and large scope, my research interest and question are how to make machine learn and understand the composition rules of human-created music and how to provide players with novel audio experience in a game.
